This Yin Yoga series of 8 classes will help with mobility, flexibility and stress release. Yin is a style of yoga that uses compression, twisting and stretching to work into the body’s connective tissues. Yin poses are typically held for 2 minutes or more and they put stress (good stress) on tendons, ligaments and bones which help with mobility, hydration and strength. While we hold each pose in stillness our nervous system has a chance to reset and goes into rest and digest helping all the systems in the body work to their highest capacity.

A little about me. I am a yoga teacher and practitioner, potter and gardener thriving in the mountains of West Virginia. I love building community through yoga and art.

I received my 200 hr YTT training from Asheville Yoga Center and an additional certification in Yin Yoga. I have experience with all levels. I teach power vinyasa flow, slow mindful flow, chair yoga, Yin and prenatal/postpartum yoga. I also have experience working with students with injuries and mobility limitations.
