Hi all!
A little about me. I am a yoga teacher and practitioner, potter and gardener thriving in the mountains of West Virginia. I love building community through yoga and art.


I received my 200 hr YTT training from Asheville Yoga Center and an additional certification in Yin Yoga. I have experience with all levels. I teach power vinyasa flow, slow mindful flow, chair yoga, Yin and prenatal/postpartum yoga. I also have experience working with students with injuries and mobility limitations.






Who/what/why’s of Chair Yoga

Chair Yoga makes many yoga poses accessible to people with injuries, limited mobility, cranky knees and hips. It is also a beautiful way to gain strength, flexibility and balance without having to worry about getting on the floor. This type of yoga is perfect for the office or if you work from home, while traveling (think airports and rest stops where you don’t want to be on the floor), waiting rooms, watching TV! Anywhere!!

This course consists of 10 classes that are 15 minutes each. Once enrolled you will have access to the entire course for 6 months!

Props:

You will need an armless chair and padded is preferred but you can always cushion with a blanket. We will also use a yoga block and yoga strap occasionally. In place of a strap you can use a belt, dish towel or long sleeved shirt.








Option to use a chair for all poses.




Or you can stand and use the chair as a prop for your hands or arms.
